A couple of months ago my lovely friend, Zeenat asked me if I wanted any cloth from the US. A friend of hers was coming to visit and so it meant that I could get my hands on some GroVia cloth nappies for a decent price – no import markup and no delivery cost!
So I spent a few days trawling the Grovia site trying to decide between their All-In-One, All-In-Two or their brand new addition the GroVia O.N.E.
We decided on the O.N.E. because it boasted that it was the easiest one to use and I’m all about cloth diapering being easy.
The thing that I loved the MOST and that sold it for me was that it had both snaps and Velcro closure. So we could choose whatever was more convenient
The ONE is a SIO (Snap-In-One) rather than an all sewn together All-In-One and its so, so soft. I wouldn’t consider it a All-In-Two because the cover isn’t reusable like the Buttons system or Grovia’s AI2 nappy which has a mesh lining (like in the image below).
The O.N.E. comes with two inserts that clip together, one big, one small so that you can choose the absorbancy your kid needs. The larger one has channels like a pad so it directs the wee into the core of the nappy.
I want to try it as a night nappy seeing as that’s what a lot of moms use it for and he’s yet to make a poop in it and we all know that is the true test of a cloth nappy so we’re still trying it out but I’ll do a full review soon.
PS. Yes, I’m very aware that my sheets are not ironed but I have a 2-year-old so the sheets get changed faster than they have time to dry on the line. I have zero time for ironing sheet. Deal with it.
