Oh hi! I suppose introductions are always a good thing. The Husband and I became parents in 2013 and it took me a while to start this blog. Being on maternity leave is not conducive to blogging. Having a baby on your person 24/7 hinders the ability to use a keyboard but here we finally are! Alive and kicking on the Internet. I’m not sure what this blog will be… thoughts on parenting, discovering things as we go, how my son is growing, product reviews of things I’ve tried and loved and loathed. But for now here’s The Cast of this ensemble and the names they’ll be referred to from here on out. Main Cast:

Zayaan. 28. Content Producer for Parent24.com. Lover of books, caramel, TV, comics, fantasy, gaming, writing, Android. I love a small amount of people fiercely. I don’t really like people much but am far more social than The Husband. Speaking of which…

Zain. 29. IT Developer. Stay-home-dad. The love of my life.
The Munchkin:
Rushdi. 4 months (currently). Baby. Lover of his hands, walking up the stairs and the skylight.

The Grandparents:
My parents. They shower The Munchkin with copious amounts of love and are quite grandparenty in nature. The Dad’s been waiting for a grandkid for quite some time so he is completely smitten. Basically, they’re the best!
The Uncle aka Ammie:
Wajdie. My brother. 25. Is incredibly excited about being an uncle. Also, drives us around with no complaint. Also basically the best except sometimes when he is being the worst (siblings, hey)
