WIN: Join Me For Breakfast at The Bay Harbour Market [CLOSED]

Bay Harbour Market

Last weekend The Bay Harbour Market in Hout Bay launched what they’re calling “Young Saturdays”. This new kids programme is guaranteed to entertain the younger crowd,  while parents relax and browse the range of more than 100 fabulous stalls, coffee in hand!

The newly-introduced kids club kicks off Saturday 9 September from 10:30 am. Each Saturday will see a face painter and clown  entertain with laughter, balloon animals and art (all free of charge!), as well as a uniquely-different activity each week.

Unfortunately we missed the kick off last weekend because The Potato needed to get her vaccinations and because I never know how my kids will react to the shots, I clear that entire day for just in case. I was a bit sad to be missing it though because they kicked off with baking and decorating their own cupcakes!

But this week they have Jacques le Sueur, the magician to entertain the kids and seeing as The Munchkin has been trying to do magic tricks lately (hiding things behind his back and pretending they’ve “distappeared”) I think he’s going to love it!

I’m just a bit concerned about child minders and how they’ll keep the kids from wondering off but follow me on Instagram because I’ll be doing a whole thing on Instagram Stories about it.

“While Bay Harbour Market is very much a family-friendly environment where no area is off limits to kids – we like to think of the entire market as one giant playground! -, we know kids would enjoy some age specific activities that also free parents up for some stress- and guilt-free shopping,” says General Manager Sandra Stroebel, who is personally curating the programme.

They’ve invited us to come check it out on Saturday and they’ve very kindly offered a R200 breakfast voucher for one of you and your family to come join us on Saturday! Who wants to come hang out with me?

Ooh.. this sounds great! I haven’t been to the Bay Harbour market in forever! Loving this concept as many of the markets do not have kid friendly areas for the little ones.
