Eid al-Adha is the 2nd of the two Eids Muslims celebrate. It means the Festival of Sacrifice and it honours the willingness of Nabi Ebrahim to sacrifice his son, as an act of submission to Allah’s command. Allah then intervened, sending his angel Jibra’il  to inform him that his sacrifice had already been accepted and replaced his son with a sheep. The Munchkin’s First* Eid

Eid has been and gone and it was such a different experience with The Munchkin this year. *It’s technically his 2nd Eid but it’s his first Ramadaan Eid and also he was only 3 weeks old on his first Eid so he didn’t experience much. Instagramming Eid

Sunday was a wonderful morning to wake up to. Despite it being freezing chilly, the house was filled with the promise of a beautiful day. We ran a little late but managed to make it to Islamia Masjid in time.
