Changing it up

So because I am the actual worst blogger in the world. I’m changing the way I blog. Clearly I am not capable of blogging every single day either because I don’t have the time or the energy. Yes, energy is needed to take the unruly thoughts in my mind and spew them into coherent sentences.

Teppanyaki Boeka

They boys were over this weekend and we had teppanyaki for supper. It’s a style of Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle to cook food on. It was fun, it always is. We were just missing my SIL Malika (she’s in the UK at the moment) and the cinnamon doughnuts that go with it.

The madness

The Madness

UK Riots

Yasso! What’s going down in London Town guys? I didn’t realise how bad it all was until I logged on yesterday morning and saw all the footage coming out the madness. Also, Xeyne asked if I had heard from Malika because the last we heard she was in London, so he was a bit worried. Tried to WhatsApp her and she eventually replied that she went to Bristol on Saturday past to be with their other sister and her family.

Relief right? Then there were reports of rioting in Bristol but luckily it’s not anything on the Londom scale yet.

But seriously, I can’t actually fathom what must go through someone’s mind to take a chair and destroy someone’s shop. To take something that someone’s built up from the ground and destroy it in a matter of minutes. It’s mindless mob mentality and it is damn scary. What kind of a person must you be to rob a bleeding, injured child? Did your parents not teach you how to be a good person? Apparently not.

And this lady tells them exactly where to get off  (some f-words in here, so if it offends you give it a skip)

You tell them, Aunty!

Okay, last thing. Love this sign on the outside of a Subway in Manchester:

That video of the kid being mugged is shocking. I actually felt nauseas. Does anyone have any compassion left?
