Crash and Burn

While most people were getting back to work and school in the new year and lamenting the end of the holidays I was here behind my desk thinking “Um, I never left. What are y’all complaining about?”. You see our intern’s contract had ended and someone needed to man the desk and seeing as I don’t celebrate Christmas or have kids who were of school going age and thus on holiday, I let my colleagues take leave.

The Beauty of Islam

The world is sad place right now. As a Muslim I am saddened and angry at what certain people are doing in the name of my beautiful religion. A “Muslim” gunman held up a Lindt store a couple of weeks ago in Sydney . And the very next day the Taliban went into a school in Peshawar and gunned down 145 people, majority of who where children. CHILDREN! What?! What is even happening? This is not my Islam. This is not the beautiful religion I was raised to love and that I choose to follow.

Currently… if you’re interested

I’m trying to post twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays and now that I’ve actually said it on here I suppose now I actually have to do it. I have a whole bunch of half-baked ideas floating around in my head but nothing that’s really standing out for me. So with that comes another round of currently.
